VIRTUAL D-DAY TOURS

Can't travel to Normandy but you want to see the beaches and battle sites?
Want to gift an on-line personal tour to a friend or relative?
Studying WW2 and interested to talk to a local guide?
Planning to visit Normandy in the future and want to understand where to go and what to see?
Patrick's on-line D-Day tours might be just right for you. He is a qualified D-Day guide, a member of the Normandy Battlefield Tour Guides Association and has been giving on-site and virtual tours in Normandy since 2018.
An interactive personal experience
After doing hundreds of on-line tours and webinars during the Covid-19 pandemic, Patrick is well-versed in providing a interactive and personal learning experience. Each tour is provided on a one-to-one basis using Zoom on your home computer or tablet.

Each tour tailored to your interests
Whether you'd like an overview of D-Day from the perspective of the US, British, Canadian or French troops or have a special interest in a particular site, Patrick will modify the itinerary to cover exactly what you wish to see. Know someone who fought in Normandy in 1944? Patrick can concentrate on the relevant landing beach, battlefield or operation.
Custom-made video footage
Video material presented during the tour was filmed on location so you get to experience the terrain as if you were walking the beaches and battlefields - in the footsteps of the troops. Archive photographs and slides are used to enrich the learning experience, and you can ask Patrick to pause, explain or chat about a particular topic at any time.

Tour costs and timings
Each 90-minute private tour costs 199€ for up to four participants so friends and family members can join in on the Zoom call.
Each session can be arrange at a time to suit you - usually between 9am and 5pm CET.
