Outside there's a sunny stone patio, barbecue, and large lawns. Beyond: charming villages, the medieval Hambye abbey, and miles and miles of untouched Normandy countryside. Further afield are the wild west-coast beaches, the D-Day landing sites, seaport towns and Le Mont Saint Michel.
Downstairs there's a large, well-equipped open-plan kitchen and dining room with wood burner, and next door the 20-ft indoor pool. A great place for cooking, eating and entertaining, and then... a refreshing dip or a relaxing sauna!
