Zoom Platoon D-DAY Excursion

On a cool, damp Normandy morning on Saturday, March 5th, I met up with a group of VIRTUAL D-DAY subscribers at the Marine Café in Ouistreham, near Sword Beach. The participants arrived by ferry, train and car from England and Paris as well as Normandy. I have to say, the group did not let the slightly inclement weather stop their enthusiasm, and during a long day we managed to visit most of the major sites in the D-Day area from Pegasus Bridge in the east to Sainte-Mère-Eglise in the west. The tour was FREE to all paid subscribers of VIRTUAL D-DAY - if you'd like to take part in a future tour like this one then please get in touch.

Thanks to everyone who took part, and to AnneMarie, Raphelle, Gary & Sariha for these great photos!
